How can I receive transportation assistance?
The state of Texas offers a transportation system through the
Texas Department of Transportation called the Medical
Transportation Program. This service was designed for those who
are enrolled in Medicaid and have a need for transportation
assistance between home and their medical treatments. This
service runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Transportation is
even available for those who live in areas such as Eagle Pass and
Del Rio and need to come to San Antonio. Call 1-877-633-8747 for
